We aim to elect officials who represent ALL Idahoans.

Idaho Moms expect elected officials to protect and strengthen the systems that we depend on to thrive like libraries, schools, and public lands.

Issues We Care About

We want our libraries to stay open and function well.  Extremists have a different agenda. This is why we need to vote in EVERY election.

Legislative members with extreme agendas are attacking our libraries. In 2023, a bill passed that would have allowed people to sue libraries. HB 314 was vetoed by Gov Little and survived an override attempt by just ONE vote. Who we elect to represent us matters. Be sure that the candidate you vote for will stand up for our libraries and against punitive laws that will harm our community libraries.

Gov. Little had this to say about the bill: “Allowing any parent, regardless of intention, to collect $2,500 … creates a library bounty system that will only increase the costs local libraries incur, particularly rural libraries. These costs will be forced onto property taxpayers of Idaho or cause libraries to close to minors altogether.”

Idaho Moms is here to help make voting easier.  The very best thing you can do is to vote by mail.  Request an absentee ballot every calendar year and a ballot will be mailed to you approximately 4 weeks before each election.  Go to VoteIdaho.gov to request your absentee ballot today! Deadline is May 5th for this election
